One of many monasteries destroyed in the purges of the 1930s. The history of Delgerin Choir Monastery was established in 1918 by the philosopher Zava Damdin on the slopes of Delgertsogt Mountain in present-day Dundgov Province. It is said that the manners and rules of the monastery were meaningful at that time, and it was an intellectual expression of Zava Damdin, which was compatible with Buddhist vinaya, any rituals, and traditions. During the flourishing period of the monastery, at the beginning of the thirties, half a thousand monks sat as disciples and studied the major and minor aspects of Buddhism.
